So many of us have learned to intellectualise our emotions — to explain them, label them and understand them. But understanding doesn’t always bring release. There’s a difference between knowing what’s going on for us, and feeling what’s there.
Old experiences, emotions, and memories can remain trapped and frozen in the body for decades, resurfacing as:
Overwhelm or anxiety or strong reactions towards others that seemingly comes out of the blue
Feeling stuck in the same cycles, with increasing frustration, no matter how much insight you have
Physical symptoms or chronic tension that can’t be explained
A sense of heaviness or flatness, even when "life looks fine"
Self-doubt or difficulty moving forward and making changes, despite knowing better
Until these frozen places are gently met and released, they continue to shape our choices, relationships and wellbeing -often in ways we don't even recognise.

What is Root Cause Practice?
Root Cause is a gentle, guided process that helps you connect with the deeper layers of what your body has been carrying - whether they stem from early childhood experiences, ancestral imprints, or multi-generational patterns passed down through your lineage..
This work goes beyond the personal story. Sometimes the root isn't just in your early childhood - it might be something you inherited, an unspoken belief or emotional pattern that's been living in your body from those who came before you.
Together, we explore the emotional and energetic root of what you’re experiencing. Often these are the unconscious beliefs or survival patterns that once kept you (or your ancestors) safe, but now weigh you down or keep you small.
By listening in a different way, we begin to join the dots between physical or emotional struggles and what’s been hidden or suppressed within. As your body is given space to be heard, emotions and insights naturally arise, opening the way for release and realignment.
This isn’t about fixing you or pushing through. It’s about meeting what’s here with compassion and respect, so your body can gently let go at its own pace.

What To Expect
Sessions are 75 minutes and held online via Zoom. You don't need to prepare anything. Just bring yourself and whatever you're experiencing. I'll gently guide you into noticing your body's wisdom, and together we'll follow what wants to be seen and released.
